Summer Trend #9: Tie Dye

Years ago I was reading a book, and one page had people predict future fashion trends. Some of them were out there and bizarre as expected. But one person answered: “Fashion trends will keep recycling themselves. I think in the future we will see older fashion ideas come back to life.” Ding Ding Ding…this guy was spot on!

Coming off of “belt bags aka fanny packs” in the last blog, we are once again visiting a fashion statement from a prior era. That’s right, tie dye! Popular in the 60s and 70s, this trend is coming back, and coming back strong.

I have to say that I am personally loving this fashion theme big time. It is popping up with almost every retailer, and while you can spend a lot of money on some tie dye threads, you can find some great bargains out there too.

I love some of the higher end pieces out there. They are so elegant and fun, but classy at the same time.

I also am digging some more relaxed looks which are great for the warmer weather.
