The Newest Diet Trend

We are all always looking for the newest diet trend. The one thing that is going to help us lose the weight, and keep it off for good. Every other week it seems like there is a new thing “to do"….a new set of rules to follow that will guarantee us a skinnier waistline and a more energetic outlook.

My husband…and I love him so…tends to want to jump on the bandwagon of these diet fads. He was a Vegan for a full 30 days - more so for health reasons. He tired whole 30 for 21 days. We have ghee in our cabinet and Keto creamer in the fridge thanks to the Keto diet. I myself used to try to find the quickest ways to shed the pounds. Paleo was amongst one of my favorites.

But I am here to introduce you to a new diet trend (which I cannot believe hasn’t already been featured on TMZ and the tabloids yet). It’s only a matter of time until celebrities are being photographed holding these pouches of glory.

I am talking about… the baby food diet. Yes, you read that right. The baby food diet. Hear me out…it’s actually pure genius.

Being a new Mom, and raising a full of life, energetic little one year old, I have had months of preparing food and feeding my bundle of joy. And lets analyze this a little bit…a majority of us buy our babies organic, wholesome foods. I actually think almost all pouches of purees are 100% organic at this point. Pouches of pureed organic fruits, veggies, and superfoods. We are always making sure that we are feeding them the best, most nutritious meals possible.

Which makes me wonder…why aren’t we doing the same for ourselves?

One day I was really hungry, and I couldn’t find anything to eat in the house. So what did I do? You guessed it…I grabbed a package of Ryker’s baby food. Those things are delicious! At the moment we have YUMI fresh pureed containers that get delivered once a week to our door in the fridge. Fruits, veggies, and superfoods, all in one little cup ready for us to eat! Chia, flaxseed, buckwheat…tons of goodness I would never make on my own.

So what do you need to do? Substitute a meal with some baby food pouches. Exchange your regular chips and salsa snack for a pouch of pureed fruits and veggies instead. Are you a Vegan? Perfect there are tons of pouches for you. Dairy free? Check. Meat lovers? Check. Breakfast and smoothies? Yup. No matter your taste buds, there is something for you on this diet!

I bet you will feel better, and look better in no time. And when the pounds start to shed off…you know who to thank ;)

P.S.

This diet has not been tested, and is not FDA approved. It is purely one Mama’s genius idea that she is sharing out of the goodness of her heart. Also chasing after a 1 year old all day helps to burn the calories too. If you aren’t into the baby food diet, rent a 1 year old for a week or two. It may be just as effective.
